Holiday Mini Session | Flemington NJ Mini Sessions | The Cosmillo Family

I’m so excited to share one of my Flemington NJ mini sessions from the holiday round with you today! When the Cosmillo Family reached out about a holiday mini session, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about families at holiday sessions. I love being able to capture the connection and joy that comes from them spending time as a family.

From our first bit of communication I knew we would be a great fit! I love when families are open to the flow of a session showing pure, genuine and candid emotion. We had an absolutely beautiful day (even if it was a little warmer than November typically is). MariLynne & Nick certainly have their hands full with two very adorable and funny kids. Maxwell and Sofia warmed up quickly which really allowed us to capture so much variety in their holiday mini session.

Five Birds Farm truly gave us a beautiful backdrop to work with. I absolutely adore the sweet face Sofia made when going in to kiss her daddy on the cheek (how precious)! This has to be one of my absolute favorite images from the season. The genuine emotion in the images of MariLynne with her babies stops me in my tracks to truly soak in that love. We spend our time laughing and creating moments of big emotions as we move through their session. The posing prompts make this session feel so fluid and candid while there was still direction so that no one felt awkward!

To the Cosmillo Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was great getting to know you guys better. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
