Your Cake Smash experience will Capture Pure Joy
1. Consultation & Booking
This is where it all starts. Inquire to explore how we can make your vision come alive. When you feel ready, we will schedule a date for your cake smash session and you select if you want to come to my studio or if we should be at any of my outdoor locations.
2. planning and preparation
I will always be there to make sure you are prepared, from frequent emails sent out before the session to give you all the information and guidance you need from preparation to final artwork. I also have a list of tried and true smash cake bakers who are local businesses.
3. wardrobe & styling
As you as a mom and the rest of your family are welcome in the portraits before we start smashing the cake, I will help you select beautiful outfits for you and the birthday child from my client closet, and provide styling guidance for the rest of your family. If you want, I can help coordinate professional hair and makeup for your session.
4. Session day
This is your day when the only thing you have to do is soak in all the love with your family. Forget about posing or feeling awkward. I'll gently guide you, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and relaxed and capturing your genuine connections.
5. Viewing & Ordering Appointment
A while after your session, you'll be invited back to the studio for a personalized viewing. It's a moment when you can hold beautifully printed proofs in your hands, ensuring every detail reflects your vision for your keepsakes.
6. artwork delivery
It's time for your artwork to come home. Your portraits are ready to be displayed and cherished for generations to come. You can pick it up in the studio or have it delivered. I'm also happy to provide hanging assistance if you would like.
