I love being a Hunterdon County NJ Photographer because there is so much beauty to capture in the county. I’m so excited to share this Pretty Bird Farm Mommy & Me session with you today! When the Sara reached out about Mommy & Me photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about Mommy & Me sessions. These sessions are special because I love capturing the love between the kids and their momma. It is a perfect type of session to get some personality shots of just the kids too!
Pretty Bird Farm Mommy & Me Session | Hunterdon County NJ Photographer | The Holmlund Family
This session was a dream! Although the forecast called for rain, we scheduled anyway and ended up with a very hot (but not humid) evening. Honestly, I would have been okay with rescheduling due to rain and hoped the garden would get some of the needed rain. Nonetheless, it was another hot summer evening and we made the best of it with many giggles along the way! Sara and her two toddlers showed up in adorable coordinated outfits and were ready to have fun. As many moms know often kids are excited until they get there and then get shy. Well Annalia and Ronan were no different here! They loved the silly noises and games we played and we became good friends fast! (Ronan wanted to hold my hand as we walked through the garden to photograph). This stage of life with toddlers who look at the world with exploration and wonder is so fast. I loved being able to serve this Golden Heart Family in capturing their little personalities throughout this session.
We captured so many adorable photos for them to treasure. Once of my favorites is Annalia laying across the couch. You will hear me say all the time sometimes we just need to follow their lead. It was hot out, she was over it and letting her explore the couch in her own way helped me visualize and capture this adorable image. The kids loved Pretty Bird Farms and Tiffany made the experience magical for the kids with butterflies, flower petals to throw and even bringing over a chicken for them to see! I absolutely love Pretty Bird Farm and use them for all my fresh flowers for sessions. I can’t wait to photograph there again.
To the Holmlund Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was great getting to know you guys better. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
