I’m so excited to share this Family Newborn Photoshoot with you today! When the Clark Family reached out about lifestyle newborn photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about in home lifestyle newborn sessions. These sessions truly showcase the love that your family shares and what life looks like bringing home your sweet baby. It is a chance to love on your beautiful growing family (or feature that gorgeous nursery you so lovingly created).

We had an absolutely beautiful day for baby Chloe’s newborn session! The weather was gorgeous and I couldn’t get over the beautiful natural light dancing around making for beautiful and dreamy images. (Although, full disclosure I still used my flash to accent the light so if you are thinking “I don’t have this light”…. we can still create magic!) Chloe, being an older newborn almost a month old, didn’t really want to sleep but we were patient and it paid off. Colleen and Matt were the sweetest to work with before and during their session. I worked with Colleen to plan Matt’s outfit to coordinate with the gorgeous Reclamation Dress that she choose to wear from my Golden Heart Mama Client Wardrobe. Colleen and Matt beautifully embodied that pure love filling their home with their new baby.

Throughout their family newborn photoshoot we captured images in the nursery and used the gorgeous light in the master bedroom. I love how sweet and peaceful baby Chloe was when we posed her on the bed. Colleen and Matt, you have beautifully decorated your spaces and we got to freeze these moments in time. I love the emotion felt in the moses basket image, Colleen reached in to pick up Chloe, who had just woken up an was not wanting to be in there. Rule number one in working with babies and children… we roll with it. We transitioned to some photos while she took a bottle. I love capturing the beauty in the ordinary moments for lifestyle newborn sessions.
