I’m so excited to share this Ringoes, NJ 1st Birthday photography session with you today! When the Pisowicz Family reached out about cake smash photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them again (I had done big sister’s cake smash photos)! There’s something so special about photographing sessions as my clients’ families continue to grow and change. We took a lot of inspiration from big sister’s photos from the location to the rustic vibe and even took some similar poses for this mama.
Cake Smash Session for Isaac | 1st Birthday Photography | Golden Heart Photography
As with all sessions in the month of April, there is always a chance of rain. Mama and I had some backup plans in case of rain. However, we had an absolutely beautiful morning for Isaac’s cake smash session. When Sara and Isaac arrived the morning dew had just cleared up. After their holiday session, I couldn’t wait to photograph Isaac’s first birthday portraits. He is a little ham for the camera and he KNOWS IT! This is such a sweet stage as their second child celebrates his first birthday and this mama has timeless photos to remember these wilder days with tiny hands and feet as he continues to grow.
I absolutely love creative freedom and incorporating your vision into sessions. I know this mama’s heart adores the rustic vibe and we sure captured that here. Isaac enjoyed being cozied up in the basket and loved the soft blankets! I especially love the images where we got him playing with his hat and clapping. Flexibility is always key in cake smash sessions, we ended up changing out the cake stand to make it easier for Isaac to really dig in! Mama and Isaac had a blast on studio property taking these gorgeous early morning photos to celebrate one year!
To the Pisowicz Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you again! Your family is so sweet, and it was great getting to see you again. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
