After all, getting kids ready on a normal day can be a hassle. I know so many moms struggle with how to dress the whole family. I spend a lot of time updating this guide to make it as easy as possible to plan your family’s outfits. This guide is sent with your questionnaire after retainer fee is paid and your contract is signed. These are more general guidelines and aren’t season-specific but this is where to start!!

Let’s Get Festive

I always let my clients know that getting dressed up for photos will elevate your photos. When thinking of the outfits for seasonal photos think ahead on how you are planning on using them. Are they just for social sharing or are you looking to create beautiful timeless prints and wall art or your 2022 Christmas Card? You want to take the time and care to decide how you are planning on using your photos in planning outfits. Make sure you choose colors that complement each other and don’t have to much of one color. Above all, make sure it’s colors with a look that you love so that it fits with your family when looking back at your photos.

Less Stress

Remember, your kids are just that … kids. First of all, there will be messes. From diapers to snack crumbs. Having options will keep you less stressed. Accidents happen. Make it fun for the little ones by giving them choices (bring the backup option with you just in case). I want to make sure you are prepared for anything.
